Sentence Is 2 Years in Meth Case
The girlfriend of the president of the San Diego chapter of Hells Angels has received a two-year federal prison term for assisting her boyfriend in a methamphetamine transaction.
Kathleen Pirelli, 22, of Lakeside, was also fined $10,000 by U.S. District Judge John Rhoades.
Pirelli and the motorcycle gang president, Guy Russell Castiglione, 40, also of Lakeside, were arrested May 13, 1989, at the Temecula checkpoint after 2 pounds of methamphetamine were found in Pirelli’s purse.
Castiglione, who pleaded guilty Dec. 20 to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, was sentenced by Rhoades on March 5 to five years in prison.
Pirelli pleaded guilty the same day to using a telephone in a narcotics transaction, which exposed her to a maximum sentence of four years.
