UCI Doubles Team to Play in Semifinals

The semifinals in the Children’s Hospital of Orange County tennis tournament are scheduled today at the John Wayne Tennis Club in Newport Beach.

Trevor Kronemann and Richard Lubner, UC Irvine’s No. 1 doubles team, meet Eliot Teltscher and Dick Miller in one semifinal at 10 a.m. Jon Leach, a junior at Laguna Beach High School, and Chris Dunk play top-seeded Tim Pawsat and Robert Vant Hof at 2 p.m.

The winners play in the final at 1 p.m. Sunday.

In the women’s semifinals Saturday, Linda Howell and Cynthia MacGregor play Kathy May Paben and Stephanie Rehe at noon. Barbara Lemberg and Sandy Collins play Beth Herr and Camey MacGregor at 2:30.
