Science Achievements
I have to speak up on behalf of more than 200 science students at Spring View School in Ocean View School District who labored long and hard over science projects and reports for Spring View’s 1990 science fair.
Even though reports of the cancellation of the district’s science fairs abounded, Spring View students persistently worked on their projects from October to March.
Of the award winners at our school level, nine students took their projects to the county fair; three received recognition at the county level, and one, Teri Griffith, is on her way to the state fair at USC.
I am very proud of our science students at Spring View, and I don’t want their efforts to be ignored or overlooked.
