The chauffeur of a limousine used by four members of the Washington Capitals’ hockey team said there was no indication that a 17-year-old girl was sexually attacked by the players.
The girl reportedly told investigators she was raped and sodomized while the car was parked behind a Georgetown sports bar early Saturday.
The driver, Whitney Valentine, appeared before a grand jury investigating the allegations.
The four players being investigated have been identified by law enforcement sources as right wing Dino Ciccarelli, 30; left wing Geoff Courtnall, 27, and defensemen Neil Sheehy, 30, and Scott Stevens, 26.
