Brian Giles drove in seven runs with a pair of homers today as the Seattle Mariners pounded the Toronto Blue Jays, 14-6.

Giles chased Toronto starter Jimmy Key (4-2) from the game when he drilled a three-run homer over the right-field fence in the third. He followed with his first career grand slam, off reliever Frank Wills, into the left-field bleachers in the fifth.

The seven RBIs are the single-game high in the American League this season and gave Giles, the No. 9 hitter in the Seattle lineup, three home runs this week. He had six in his career before this season.

Ken Griffey Jr. drove in two runs during the inning with a ground-rule double to left.
