Cyclists Share Blame
The article (May 15) pointing out the increase in bicycle fatalities can’t come as a surprise to Orange County drivers. When was the last time we saw a cyclist stop at a stop sign? Typically they look over their shoulder to check for a police officer and then pedal on through the stop sign.
While I’m not denying that we have our share of rude and aggressive drivers, I do think the cyclists themselves must share a large part of this problem.
