BOSTON —
Kevin McHale underwent surgery today to repair ligament damage in his left thumb, but was expected to be fully recovered by next season, the Boston Celtics said.
McHale, who underwent the procedure at New England Baptist Hospital to repair the radial collateral ligament, was expected to have his hand in a cast for about six weeks, the team said in a statement.
