D’Amboise Named: Christopher d’Amboise, a former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and currently artistic director of the New York-based Chamber Company Off Center Ballet, was named artistic director of the Pennsylvania Ballet Wednesday. D’Amboise, 30, succeeds Robert Weiss, who resigned in January after directing the 39-member company for eight years.
