Valenti Not Worried: Jack Valenti, the president of the Motion Picture Association of America, isn’t worried about the latest challenge to his ratings system. Spanish director Pedro Almodovar filed suit in New York on Wednesday in hopes of overturning the X-rating the MPAA gave his latest movie, “Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down.” “In 22 years the rating system has survived criticism and legal assaults.” Valenti said. “I have total confidence that the rating system will survive all legal challenges in the future as it has in the past.”
