From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A La Canada Flintridge man who had been receiving threatening phone calls found two swastikas painted on his garage and truck Monday morning, authorities said. David Baisly, 53, told Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies that he found one black 3-foot by 2-foot swastika painted on the wall of his garage and another on the hood of his pickup truck, which was parked in the driveway of his home in the 200 block of Baptiste Way, at about 8:30 a.m., Deputy Hal Grant said. Baisly also told deputies he had been receiving threatening phone calls “using neo-Nazi overtones,” Grant said.
