A Rancho Penasquitos man was found guilty Friday of second-degree murder in the drive-by shooting death of a 17-year-old boy last November.
John Michael Mizicko, 20, showed no initial reaction to the verdict, but cried after the San Diego Superior Court jury left.
The victim was Raymond Jose, killed in Mira Mesa in a gang-related shooting near a taco restaurant.
Judge David Gill set sentencing for July 27. Mizicko, who remains in County Jail on $500,000 bail, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years to life.
