Carl Lewis, who said earlier that he didn’t plan to compete in the USA/Mobil track and field championships that begin Tuesday at Cerritos College, has apparently changed his mind.

Will Kern, director of meet, said that Lewis has entered three events: the 100 and 200 meters and the long jump. However, it’s believed that Lewis probably will compete in only the 100 meters.
