GRASS ROOTS--The East Valleys Organization, an activist community group in the San Gabriel Valley, will hold its annual meeting today at El Monte High School Auditorium, 3048 Tyler Ave. The group, which has made San Gabriel Valley water pollution a priority, will launch its $100,000 “toxics clean-up reward fund” drive as part of the meeting, which runs from 2:15 to 4 p.m.
