Memorial Set for Times Editor John Brownell

A memorial Mass for Los Angeles Times Deputy Managing Editor John Brownell will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Vibiana’s Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles. Brownell was 33 when he died Saturday.
A scholarship in his memory has been established at his alma mater, Northwestern University. Contributions may be sent to the John Brownell Memorial Scholarship Fund, Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, 2020 Ridge Ave., Evanston, Ill. 60208.
