Paolo Cimini of Italy broke the course record in winning the U.S. Pro Cycling Championships at Philadelphia.
Cimini’s time of 6 hours 1 minute 54 seconds broke the record set by Tom Schuler in 1987 for the 156-mile course by more than three minutes.
Laurence Jalabert of France was second, followed by Kurt Stockton of Santa Barbara.
