PREVIEW: GAY AND LESBIAN PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL
Route: 1.2-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard beginning at Crescent Heights Boulevard and ending at Robertson Boulevard.
Parade Time: Sunday at noon. The event marks the 20th anniversary of the parade.
Sponsors: Christopher Street West.
Attendance: Organizers are expecting 300,000 people to participate in the weekend of activities. More than 250 floats, marching bands and dignitaries will be on hand.
TV Coverage: The parade will be televised in 28 cities nationwide and in Canada.
Festival: Weekend festival with more than 240 booths will be held from noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. on Sunday in West Hollywood Park, 647 San Vicente Blvd.
Tickets: Tickets for the festival and parade grandstand seats are $10.
