Freeway Repairs Announced

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast/Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Long Beach: Eastbound Artesia Freeway (91) connector to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 6 to 11:30 a.m. today; raised markers.

2. Long Beach: Westbound Artesia Freeway (91) connector to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) and Atlantic Avenue on-ramp; 6 to 11:30 a.m. today; raised markers.

3. Cerritos: Eastbound Norwalk Boulevard off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Lynwood: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Imperial Highway to Rosecrans Avenue; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; guardrail repair.

5. Various cities: Northbound alternate lanes; Artesia Freeway (91) to Compton Boulevard and the Alondra Boulevard on-ramp and off-ramp; 6 to 11:30 a.m. today; raised markers.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

6. Carson: Southbound No. 4 lane; Carson Street to Wilmington Avenue and the Wilmington Avenue off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

7. Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 lane; Long Beach Boulevard to Orange Avenue and north and south Atlantic Avenue on-ramps; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

8. Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 lane; Atlantic Avenue to Cherry and Orange avenues and the southbound Cherry Avenue off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

9. Pico Rivera: Southbound No. 1 lane; Rose Hills Road to Peck Road; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; grinding.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

10. East Los Angeles: Northbound Downey Road on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

11. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane; Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

12. Long Beach: Northbound all lanes; Anaheim Street to Pacific Coast Highway, the Anaheim Street on-ramp and the Pacific Coast Highway on-ramp and off-ramp; detour northbound (103) traffic from Anaheim Street to Pacific Coast Highway; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday; bridge repair.
