Stewart Wins Again in Bodyboarding
Three-time U.S. champion Mike Stewart of Anaheim won the bodyboarding division Sunday at the Killer Loop surfing tournament at the Oceanside Pier.
Stewart edged Hawaii’s Harry Antipala and Ben Severson (third) and Kyle Maligro (fourth) in the final. Stewart, who earned $2,075, won for the 27th time in 52 contests.
Santa Barbara’s Chris Brown won the surfing division, followed by Rob Machado of Cardiff, Charlie Kuhn of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Huntington Beach’s Noah Budroe.
