Domestic Spat Leads to Felony Arrest

Share

Thomas Carter, wanted since March on an Orange County felony warrant for alleged illegal automobile subleasing, was arrested Monday at his El Toro residence and booked into Orange County Jail.

Carter was taken into custody when his girlfriend, after an argument with Carter, told deputies that he was wanted by local authorities, said Rande King, the Department of Motor Vehicles senior investigator whose investigation of automobile subleasing operations in the county resulted in the felony charges against Carter.

King said the sheriff’s deputies were responding to a neighbor’s complaint of a loud domestic disturbance at Carter’s residence.
