SPORTSCOPE : Pro Beach Softball Tour Moves July 28-29 Event to Playa del Rey

The third stop of the Pro Beach Softball Tour will be held in Playa del Rey, not at the Hermosa Beach Pier, as originally scheduled.

The event will be held July 28-29 at a site on the beach near Los Angeles International Airport, according to Russ Johnson, president and founder of Southern California Over-The-Line.

The tour is composed of up to 64 Over-The-Line teams of four men each. It includes five stops, with the championships scheduled for September in Long Beach.
