Girl, 13, Assaulted at Westminster School
A man saying he needed help with some puppies lured a 13-year-old girl to a secluded part of Warner Intermediate School on Friday and raped her, police said.
The man then stole the girl’s new 15-speed mountain bicycle and was last seen fleeing west on Westminster Avenue near Newland Street.
Police said the girl was slightly injured in the attack, which occurred at about 4:45 p.m.
They described the rapist as 19 to 20 years old, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 175 pounds with intensely blue eyes and brown hair cut short on the sides and long on the top. He was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt, officers said.
