San Diego homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman who was shot and killed early Saturday in a residence in Southeast San Diego.
The identity of the victim, who was 32, was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
Details of the slaying were sketchy and there was no word of a motive.
According to police, officers were called to the Acacia Street residence shortly before 4 a.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Lawmen found the body of the women and a number of witnesses, police said.
