Oceanside police have no leads in the shooting of an unidentified man early Friday morning.

A passer-by found the body slumped over a bicycle at 4:43 a.m. in the east alley of the 200 block of South Hill Street, according to Oceanside public service officer Catha Cotton. He had been shot in the head with a small-caliber handgun and was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center, she said. The police have no suspects, but they believe two people committed the crime.

Officials at Palomar would not release any information about the man or his condition, pending notification of his family.
