DOES PETE WILSON HAVE A HEART?

Share

In 1988, after receiving a year of the Washington run-around, this angry and frustrated father from Riverside gazed into the eyes of his allegedly heartless senator and asked for help in banning the lawn dart toy that had killed his little girl. The next day, Wilson introduced a bill that shortly thereafter resulted in a ban that will spare thousands of children from injury or death from this horrible toy.

So what if Wilson may appear a bit bland to some? Should he seek out a theatrical consultant for that “Hollywood flare” like so many other politicians? I don’t care if he fails to give me goose bumps with a stirring oratory. That isn’t what counts. This voter has learned to differentiate the hot air from deeds and action. Wilson does have a heart. Bigger than most.
