Matthews Studio Unit Buys Power Generators

Matthews Studio Equipment Group, a Burbank company that manufactures and rents equipment used in film, television and theater productions, said its Hollywood Rental Co. subsidiary acquired 18 power generators for $1.1 million. Matthews said the generators will allow it to offer the additional service of powering lights for studio and location productions.
