ANTIGUA and BARBUDA

On Barbuda, there is the 11-room Sunset View Resort. All rooms are screened with ceiling fans and overlook the courtyard pool. There is a bar and open dining area.

GRENADA

Spice Island Inn: $225 double for a suite with private pool and all meals in the off-season; $420 a night from mid-December to mid-April. Newer rooms have whirlpool baths. The pool suites have private pools, and the rooms at beachside have an attractive, plant-filled atrium dividing the bedroom and bath.

Secret Harbour (now owned by The Moorings, the yacht people): $108 per room per day, double occupancy. Winter rates are $180.

Coyaba Beach Resort: $85 per room, double. Winter rates are $125.

TURKS & CAICOS

A five-day trip at Turtle Cove is $484 per person, double occupancy, and includes transfers, room tax, daily diving, (tanks, weights, belts), boat trip to reef and full American breakfast daily.
