FILLMORE : Man Arrested in Threats With Pistol
A Fillmore man was arrested Sunday after he threatened two brothers with a handgun during an argument over a girlfriend, authorities said.
Leo Medina, 21, was taken into custody about 4:45 p.m. outside his home in the 300 block of B Street, Ventura County Sheriff’s Lt. Kathy Kemp said.
Kemp said Medina began arguing with Steve Segovia, 26, of Fillmore over a former girlfriend.
The argument became heated and Medina brandished a 9-millimeter semiautomatic handgun, Kemp said, adding that he threatened to shoot Segovia and his brother, Jessie, 26.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived before any shots were fired.
No one was injured.
