Los Angeles School Board Buys Out Britton’s Contract
I find it very disturbing to read in The Times of the plight of the children attending school in the San Fernando Valley, in schools where the temperature reaches 100 degrees and more. How can they be expected to learn anything under such adverse conditions? Where is all the money from the California Lottery going? I thought it was supposed to go to the schools. Why can’t that money be used for room air conditioners? If the parents of those children would take the children out of school until something was done to alleviate such an inhumane condition, something would be done, and soon.
