Madonna Guard Struck Him, Photographer Says

BARCELONA — Spanish press photographers said today that a bodyguard of pop star Madonna hit one of their colleagues when he tried to snap her picutre outside a Barcelona hotel.
The Barcelona paper El Periodico said its photographer Juan Valganon was badly bruised after the incident. Other photographers said the attack occurred as the singer returned to her hotel following a jog down the city’s famous Rambla Avenue.
