Jerry Zaks Goes to Jujamcyn: Tony Award-winning director Jerry Zaks has resigned as director in residence at the Lincoln Center Theater, and will join Jujamcyn Theaters Sept. 15 in a salaried, untitled position that will allow him to develop plays and musicals for the company’s five Broadway theaters. Officials said it is believed to be the first time that a theater owning and producing organization has retained a director on its staff. Zaks most recently directed a production of John Guare’s “Six Degrees of Separation.”
