The Real Beverly Hills Cops Go Hollywood

Share

The real Beverly Hills cops take it off, take it off, take it all off--their uniforms, not their clothes--in a pin-up calendar that went on the market last week. And yes, that Beverly Hills cop appears in it. Three times.

Officer Paul Kramer, target of a celebrated slap from Zsa Zsa Gabor, is featured in a group shot on the cover. He’s the one in motorcycle gear, and he shows up inside in civvies and later as Mr. January of 1992.

“People are calling to find out if he’s in it or not, and as soon as they do, they buy them like crazy,” said Officer Michael J. Carra, one of two officers who produced the calendar (listed at $11.95) in hopes of cashing in on the attention their force has received on the big screen and in tabloid headlines.

The 14-month calendar was issued with the blessing of Police Chief Marvin Iannone.

Among other pin-ups, Officer Michael Dillard is shown in a debonair white tuxedo; Brad Cornelius flexes his muscles in a gym; Kieron Foley, who has been linked in supermarket tabloids with the ex-wife of a TV celebrity, stands coolly on Rodeo Drive in blue blazer and loosened necktie, and Dave Perez and Carlos Pinho go scuba diving and surfing in tasteful swim trunks.

Hardly the stuff of Playgirl, which will come as a relief to Mayor Allan L. Alexander, who has not yet seen a copy.

“I hope they’re not posed in the nude,” Alexander said.
