Meanwhile, “G.I. Joe” continues his journey to the screen under Kirkwood and Hyde.
The producers--partnered in Cinecorp--are working with Warners on a feature based on the popular boy’s doll from Hasbro. Scripted by John and Anthony Gentile, the movie is set in the near future and sees GI Joe dispatched on a mission to fight “one of the world’s arch enemies.”
Hyde predicts “a fairly big budget,” and a fall start date--”if we find the right director.”
