Up to $1,000 will be given for information identifying two men who robbed three florist shops in the Thousand Oaks area last week.
The Flowers and Gifts shop on Newbury Road and the Just Because shop on Thousand Oaks Boulevard were robbed about noon Wednesday. Flowers For . . . And Gifts Too on Janss Road was robbed about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 6.
According to clerks at all three stores, both robbers were white men. One was in his mid-20s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and slender. He had collar-length blondish-brown hair and a mustache. The other was of the same height and build but was 30 to 35. He had straight, bushy, feathered blond hair that was shoulder-length in back and shorter on the sides.
Both men wore T-shirts and jeans and were seen getting out of a light-blue, two-door car, the size and style of a Toyota Corolla, police said.
Anyone with information can call the Thousand Oaks Crime Stoppers Program, 494-TALK. If the information leads to an arrest and the filing of a criminal complaint, the caller will be eligible for the reward. The full $1,000 will be given if the information is received by next Tuesday. Otherwise, the reward is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Callers may remain anonymous.
