Family Out for Walk Finds Man’s Body
A man in his early 20s was found dead in Sunland on Thursday afternoon, police said.
The body of the man, whose name was not being released pending notification of his relatives, was found about 1 p.m. by a woman walking with her children in the hills off La Tuna Canyon Road a mile south of the Simi Valley Freeway, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Sol Polen said.
The man died of multiple gunshot wounds, Polen said. No suspects are in custody and no motive has been established, Polen said.
