COSTA MESA : Summer Festival Starts Saturday
- Share via
The Costa Mesa Sister Cities Project will hold its third annual Summer Festival this weekend at Lions Park.
The festival will raise money for a sister city program between Costa Mesa and the town of Werribee in Australia. The event will feature works from more than 100 artisans, entertainment that includes bands, jugglers, barber shop quartets and mimes, and food booths sponsored by nonprofit groups in Costa Mesa.
Lions Park is at Park Avenue and 18th Street. The city will close Park Avenue for the festival to reduce traffic into the neighborhood. Parking lots are along the park’s borders.
The free festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
