The San Diego Gulls now have five players under contract after Monday’s announcement that they have signed defender Al Tuer and left wing Taylor Hall.

Tuer, according to the team’s announcement, is best known for having spent much of his career in the penalty box. Hall’s best year was 1987 when he scored 33 goals and had 41 assists in 71 games for Maine of the American Hockey League.
