Firm Hired for City Manager Search
The executive search firm that helped the city of Laguna Niguel lure away Redondo Beach’s veteran city manager, Tim Casey, has now been hired by the Redondo Beach City Council to help them fill Casey’s shoes.
At the suggestion of Mayor Brad Parton and Councilman Ron Cawdrey, the council Tuesday selected the firm of Norm Roberts & Associates to find Redondo Beach a new city manager.
Casey, who took over the newly formed Orange County city of Laguna Niguel in July, had been city manager for nine years when he left Redondo Beach. His assistant city manager, Ray Greist, has been acting city manager since Casey’s departure.
