Bank President Named: Pacific National Bank of Newport Beach said Friday that it has named Larry L. Luckey as its new president, replacing Donald L. Solsby, who left the Newport Beach institution for a nearby competitor. Luckey, 45, has served as PNB’s executive vice president and chief operating officer for the last 7 1/2 years. He is also a director of the bank and its holding company, PNB Financial Group. Solsby left PNB earlier this week to join American Interstate Bank in Newport Beach. An American Interstate spokeswoman said the bank will announce next week his appointment as president and chief executive officer.
