THE SIDELINES : Soldiers Given Cowboys Tickets

DALLAS —
A television station and local businessmen assured a sellout and a local telecast of Saturday night’s exhibition game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Oilers by buying several blocks of tickets for 12,000 Ft. Hood soldiers, the club announced.
Jerry Jones, the majority owner of the Cowboys, also said the annual Governor’s Cup game will be used to pay tribute to the Armed Forces. Kickoff is 8 p.m. Saturday.
