Second Victim Dies in Drive-By Shooting
A 21-year-old man Saturday became the second fatality resulting from a drive-by shooting by alleged gang members who opened fire on pedestrians while cruising a south Los Angeles neighborhood, hospital authorities said.
Ricky Davis died at White Memorial Hospital. Milo Spears, 19, died shortly after the shooting Friday while undergoing surgery.
The two dead men, as well as three other victims who were wounded in the incident at Woodlawn Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, were believed not to be gang members.
