Freeway’s Truck Lanes to Be Closed for Repairs
The truck lanes of the northbound Golden State Freeway will be closed this weekend while workers repair a collapsed drainage pipe five feet below the pavement, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
The lanes will close about 10 p.m. Friday, and trucks will be routed onto the regular traffic lanes. The truck route, a quarter of a mile north of the Foothill Freeway interchange, should be reopened by 1 p.m. Monday, Caltrans officials said.
