Stephen J. Lukasik joined TRW Inc. in Redondo Beach as vice president and chief scientist for the firm’s Space & Defense Sector. In the newly created position, he will be responsible for advising senior management on areas of potential business development that involve much technical innovation. Since 1982, he had worked at Northrop Corp., most recently as corporate vice president of technology. From 1979 to 1982, he was chief scientist for the Federal Communications Commission.
