Kings Beat Nordiques With Four Late Goals

The Kings rallied from a 3-1 deficit with four consecutive goals in the third period to beat the Quebec Nordiques, 6-3, in an NHL exhibition Friday night.

Bob Kudelski, Mike Krushelynski, Jay Miller, Mikko Makela, Dave Taylor and Rob Blake scored for the Kings. Marc Fortier, Kip Miller and Everett Sanipass scored for Quebec.

The Kings’ Wayne Gretzky was not in uniform for the game.

Daniel Berthiaume and Ron Scott shared the work in goal for the Kings.

This was the first exhibition for both teams. The King rookies scored a 6-3 victory over the Nordique rookies in an afternoon game at the Colisee.
