Dog Day Afternoon: Bear, who plays the canine star Dreyfuss of NBC’s comedy series “Empty Nest,” is the proud father of six pups. The litter represents the latest addition to one of Hollywood’s canine dynasties. Bear followed in the pawprints of his father, Boomer, who appeared as a series regular on “Father Murphy.” His sister, Bodi, was in the film “Steel Magnolias.”
