Deplorable Conditions at Los Angeles Zoo

I read your article on the deplorable conditions existing at the zoo that endanger the animals. Ever since this zoo was established over 20 years ago there were serious problems.
I would suggest that the City Council consider closing this facility, giving the animals to the well-run San Diego Zoo, which is close enough for Los Angeles citizens and their children to visit.
