SHORT TAKES : Actress Sinks Teeth Into Role

Anne Archer liked almost everything about starring in the recently released thriller “Narrow Margin”--but not the stunts atop a fast-moving train.
“I thought there would be a stunt person doing most of it and there would just be a close-up of me when the train was at a dead standstill,” she said.
“I questioned my whole reason for being an actress. . . . I didn’t study this,” she said in a recent interview. “I used to kid them that every day I felt like I was going to the dentist, and it’s turning more and more into a root canal as we go along.”
