A woman found dead Tuesday near Balboa Park has been identified.
Myran Wendy Cox, 37, of the 1000 block of Beyer Way in South San Diego, was found by a passer-by about 7:30 a.m. near Ash Street and California 163, said a spokeswoman for the San Diego County medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy is being performed, the spokeswoman said. There were no signs of injury.
