San Diego
Law enforcement officers serving a search warrant at a suspected drug house Tuesday found a large quantity of explosives and weapons including a rocket launcher, grenades and semi-automatic weapons.
The house at 702 Billow St. in East San Diego was searched by members of the San Diego County Integrated Narcotics Task Force. The task force has offices in National City and is made up of representatives of various area law enforcement agencies.
A San Diego police SWAT team was on standby in case trouble erupted at the house, but its services were not needed, said Bill Robinson, spokesman for the department.
