Body of Apparent Murder Victim Found in River
The body of a man apparently stabbed and shot to death was found floating in a river in the Angeles National Forest north of Azusa Friday, authorities said.
Shortly before noon, two fishermen found the 18- to 22-year-old unidentified Latino man’s body clad only in brown pants and floating in the West Fork River, nearly a mile west of San Gabriel Canyon Road in the national forest, Deputy Rich Erickson said.
The victim had multiple stab and gunshot wounds in his upper torso, Erickson said.
Homicide investigators have no suspect and no motive, Erickson said.
