Countywide : Sessions Planned on Ballot Propositions

Share

The League of Women Voters of Ventura County has scheduled presentations this month to help voters confused by any of the 18 propositions on the November ballot.

“The pros and cons listed on the ballot are often written by legal people or legislative analysts,” said Roma Armbrust, the league’s county president. “Our speakers put the arguments in more easily understandable terms, and the public has an opportunity to ask questions.”

The first of the six pro-and-con sessions, which--like the league’s upcoming candidate forums--are free to the public, is scheduled at the American Legion Hall in Ventura on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
